
The tail belongs to the Lockheed Super Constellation VP-WAW of Afro Continental Airways, part of the same group owned and run by Jack Malloch. The DC8 was a big improvement on the Douglas DC7s that were used at the same time. Gabon registered as were the DC7s for the same reasons, sanctions busting.
