Just after a respray from blue and white, the owner at the time was Vic Broughton who owned 'Broughtons', a tourist gift shop selling high quality Rhodesian products from his shop in the centre of Salisbury. Vic bought the aircraft from Harry Allen for £600 in the late 1960s, even then the price was cheap. I did about ten hours in this aircraft under Harry Allen's instruction for basic aerobatics in the early 1970s. Vic also gave me a couple of flights, he was very keen on 'multi spin' spins, The most we ever did was 6 turns by which time the spin had become 'flat'!
