Air Rhodesia Douglas C47. VP-WCG and two of the Boeing 720s, nearest VP-YNM.
In front of the terminal at Salisbury, June 1973

Take off from Salisbury, March 1972. It was unusual to see the vortices from the propellers as humidity tended to be low, however, March was within the rainy season which might explain it. This aircraft was new, delivered to Air Malawi in 1970, the first airline in Africa to operate this type as reported in the book, 'They Served Africa with Wings' , see book review.
