VP-WCG' is reported to be ex 'VP-YKN' which was withdrawn from use in 1976, 'VP-YKP' 'Manica' ex-'G-AMYY' was also withdrawn in 1976. Both these aircraft are said to have gone to the Rhodesian Air Force as: 'VP-WCG to 'R7313', also recorded as ex-RAF 'KN371. 'VP-YKP' is ex-RAF 'KJ998' became 'R7134'. This was fitted out for VIP transport as well as used as an Airborne Command Post. A date of April 1974 is given which does not tie up with 1976, both these aircraft were still in Air Rhodesia markings in March 1974, see air to ground photo section.
