De Havilland Dove 'VP-YTF' of Rhodesian United Air Carriers (RUAC)

RUAC was a busy charter company, operating twin engine aircraft for business and tourist flights within Rhodesia and the surrounding countries. If anyone had a flight around Victoria Falls sightseeing, this is the company you would have flown with, usually in a Piper Aztec.

This photo was taken on the 20th January 1972 on the apron at Salisbury, note the RUAC uniform, the chap in whites might have been customs. Note Rhodesian Air Force base, New Sarum on the far side of the runway, a number of English Electric Canberras on view of No.5 Squadron.
