Many foreign registered aircraft appeared in Rhodesia, most 'N' registered (from the USA) aircraft were operated by various missionary organisations, the Cessna 185 was and still is one of the best 'bush' type aircraft for operating in rough airfield conditions. To the right under the wing are my good friends Mike Williams and Don Gifford-Garner, hard at work as always! If you look carefully, hanging from one of the girders in the roof is a Hessian curtain, the idea for this was to separate one side of the hangar off from the other when Rhodesian Air Force aircraft were in, quite pointless as you could always see through it! A 'management' idea!
