De Havilland Vampire FB9 'RRAF112'
RhAF Air Show at Thornhill Air Force Base, Gwelo, 8th October 1972.

This aircraft is reported to have been one of 16 Vampire FB9s to be delivered to The Southern Rhodesian Air Force in 1953/54. This is ex-RAF 'WR199', grounded as fatigue life complete (FLC) on the 11th Jan.1964. At the time of the photo it was part of the historic aircraft collection, last reported to be in the Zimbabwe Military Museum, Gweru (Gwelo).
