South African Air Force Viscount '150'

It was very unusual to see the SAAF Viscounts in Rhodesia, this photo was taken on the 19th May 1971 as the aircraft was being towed from the Air Rhodesia hangar, Salisbury Airport, after minor maintenance of some sort. Air Rhodesia operated a number of Viscounts, it was able to carry out all the maintenance required on this type, including total engine overhaul within its extensive workshops located at Salisbury Airport.
