English Electric Canberra B2 'R2519' of No 5 Squadron RhAF landing on runway '06' at Salisbury Airport on the
27th November 1972.

This aircraft is reported to have been constructed from parts of two grounded aircraft, rear fuselage 'R2055, wings 'R2075, nose and centre section 'RRAF213'. I saw the nose section on display at the Salisbury Show, 1971, on the Rhodesian Air Force stand, it had a small roundel on the nose which it retained when the aircraft went back into service. Later it is reported to have been converted for photo recce duties in 1975, finally being reduced to spares in 1981, by this time the Air Force had become the Air Force of Zimbabwe.
