Two of the aircraft still have their markings at this stage, 'R7053' (ex-RAF 'KP245' delivered to Rhodesia in 1955) and 'R3708' (ex-RAF 'KN538' delivered in 1955). The wing of the third C47 appears not to have markings, this became the norm as time went by, later all C47s were in full camouflage, with no national insignia or easily read serials.
