De Havilland Vampire T55 'R2418'

Taxiing in at the end of the air show held at Thornhill Air Force base on the 8th October 1972. This is reported to be one of the ex-South African Air Force aircraft supplied to Rhodesia during 1969, SAAF serial number '271', aircraft grounded as FLC in August 1979.
